Cultural Background
Beadwork usually falls under the category of four-fold symmetry, which means the same shape is reflected in both directions. I'll be using the concept of the different design methods and how they were used. The design type was based on four-fold symmetry. In the first page, all four images shown share the common factor of being four-fold symmetry. The four images were a piece of embroidery from the Plains Indians, a piece of Shoshone beadwork, a Pawnee buffalo hide drum, and a Navajo rug. Reflection symmetry is when the two sides show perfect symmetry, and appear to be mirrored of eachother. Four fold symmetry is commonly used for healing ceremonies, where the healing man paits a four fold symmetry based painting and then its brushed away in the night and the person is meant to be healed. Its similar to the Cartesian coordinate system, which is used used as a measurement system. Native American beadwork was created before the Europeans arrived, and were used to make boats and even scarves.

Communication
Before this activity, I never really noticed how often I use my phone. I realized that I'm almost always texting or on social media. If I'm with someone, I talk o them, but if I'm not hen I'm either texting or snapchatting them. Without technology, I probably wouldn't be able to interact with my friends and family as much as I'd like to.

Scavenger Hunt Reflection
During this assignment, I think I did a good job of finding all the information. However, I could've given clearer instructions and citations.

Computer Project Reflection
I liked learning about all the different things to look for when buying a computer while my partner and I made our project. Also, I liked working with someone I didn't know very well because we actually got work done rather than just talking the whole time. The only challenge we ran into was not knowing what to do or how to do it because some parts of the directions were unclear.

Working With A Partener
Working with my partner has been very easy. The two of us have been able to agree on all of the decisions necessary to make this project work. Also, we don't talk much so we get a lot of work done. Plus, it's much easier to work with another set of hands.
